Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Dahabna mobile application for Android and iOS, its website pages, and the related services (together, the "Service"). By installing or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Dahabna shows indicative gold and currency prices for Egypt and selected Gulf markets, gold market news, and local tools for tracking a personal gold portfolio, estimating zakat, and planning retirement. Prices are collected from public market sources and refreshed on a schedule; they are not live exchange quotes.

            Not financial advice. All prices, projections, forecasts, and planner results are provided for general information only. They are not investment, financial, tax, or legal advice, and they are not an offer to buy or sell gold or any other asset. Always confirm the current price with your dealer or bank before transacting, and consult a licensed professional before making financial decisions.
        

2. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
An account is optional. Signing in with Google or Apple is required only for features that need it, such as price alerts. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure.
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. Deletion removes your server profile, registered devices, and alerts as described in the Privacy Policy.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
Scrape, harvest, resell, or redistribute the price data, news content, or any other part of the Service without written permission.
Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app, or interfere with its security, advertising, or purchase mechanisms.
Access the Service with automated tools, or attempt to overload or disrupt our servers.
Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone.

4. Premium, Purchases, and Rewards

Some features are offered as a paid Premium subscription or one-time purchase through Google Play or the Apple App Store. Prices are shown in the store before you confirm.
Payments, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are handled by Google or Apple under their terms. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled in your store account at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Rewarded advertisements may grant a temporary ad-free pass or unlock. Rewards are granted only after the advertising provider verifies the view and may be unavailable at times.
Purchase entitlements are managed with RevenueCat and can be restored on another device signed in to the same store account.

5. Advertising

The free version of the Service is supported by advertising provided by third-party networks. Advertisements are labeled as such and are not endorsements by Dahabna. Advertising, consent, and tracking choices are described in the Privacy Policy.

6. Content and Intellectual Property

The app, its design, logos, text, and software are owned by Dahabna or its licensors and are protected by copyright and trademark law. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app on devices you own or control.
Market prices are sourced from third parties who own their data. News articles are summarised from their publishers and remain the property of those publishers.
Data you enter into the portfolio, zakat, and retirement tools stays on your device and remains yours.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including accuracy, timeliness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that prices are correct, that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any projection will be achieved.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dahabna and its owner will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, savings, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, including reliance on any price, forecast, or planner result. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve months before the claim.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time by deleting your account and uninstalling the app. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, abuse the Service, or where required by law. Sections 6 to 10 survive termination.

10. Changes to the Service and these Terms

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service, including price sources, features, and pricing, at any time. We may update these Terms by posting a new version on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought before the competent courts of Cairo, Egypt, unless mandatory consumer law in your country of residence provides otherwise.
